I think I saw Nebraska is also starting a true freshman. A lot more common these days. These kids have a lot more pre-college reps. and coaching than they used to. 7 on 7, etc. And it’s quality coaching. I think Clay said it best – you don’t play the QB with the most seniority just because of that; you instead play the QB that gives your team the best chance to be successful. If that’s a true freshman, fine. The team deserves the best chance to be successful.
The really scary thing about Daniels is he graduated early from high school and is barely 17…
