Something about the A&M upset scares me

I’m not worried about playing them tomorrow, but it adds to my anxiety about beating LSU today. If we can win today, I think we’ll beat AM tomorrow, but I’m worried about today. Anyone know Toney’s status?

He’s available to play. Article on HI front page.

Thanks. I hope he’s at or near 100%. If he’s not, I’d just as soon rest him. I want to win today, but next week is when it’s “win or go home.”

It’s not supposed to be easy. I would love a chance to beat Kentucky in the championship game of “their tournament” That being said there’s not another team I’d like to sweep 3-0 more than LSWho. How about we put the will wade era out of its misery right here?!

It’d be nice to win the SECT. We’ve only done it once & I’m tired of KY doing it.

Here’s a factor to consider; the Aggie’s leading scorer, Coleman (at least for the last two games), played 41 minutes on Wednesday and 38 minutes yesterday. That has to take a toll on the body. That overtime game added to a game against the #1 seed had to have been tough.

So far I would say Au’Diese is just fine

Yep, but sports are no fun if you can’t worry needlessly. :grinning:

A&M won’t be easy, but with Toney back and them with 3 games in 3 days should help us I would hope. WPS

I’m just as bad as anyone about worrying. But this team has earned our trust. We are really good right now—especially defensively.

If we get points from a third scorer—Toney, Umude, Lykes, etc., we are really tough to beat.

With those 3 scoring it forces tens to play solid defense on them and it helps Notae and J Williams have one on one matchups where they can score! The hogs should be able to beat A&M but the defense will be key.

No. I just meant 1 of those 3 scoring. If Toney, Umude and Lykes are all scoring, we aren’t losing.
