Luke Bonfield hit two home runs - a grand slam and a 3-run home run - and had 7 RBI. He also had a walk. This is good news because he has had a leg injury that has bothered him off and on since the fall. It looks good that the injury won’t keep him from missing any time in the field to start the season, but there are some plans to play him at DH to give him rest when needed.
Hunter Wilson hit a triple and a double. He is Arkansas’ backup shortstop and still is in the mix at third base.
Jared Gates had a home run and two singles. He is likely going to be the opening-day starter at first base, but may also play some third.
