I thought that was one of our better defensive efforts of the season, if not the best. Other than the very first basket by SHS, there was hardly any open shot available to SHS. The defensive effort was equally strong on the perimeter and around the basket. Love the way the guys are moving their feet on defense.
SHS coach was visibly frustrated for not finding an open shot. It will be interesting to see what he has to say in the post game presser.
Our depth again came in play. In the last 8 minutes, SHS did not have any legs and to make a jump shot. And at times it looked like they didn’t have the arms to make inside baskets.
