Courtney Deifel could/should become our all-time winningest coach this weekend. She’s 2 wins behind the leader. Could tie tonight if we sweep Free Shoes and Dook today. FSU started the tournament yesterday and beat Arizona 6-4.
No lineups available yet so not sure who we’re pitching. Callie Turner, transfer from Tennessee, pitched the opener last weekend but Chenise Delce has the experience.

Turner is all over the place missing really badly on a lot of pitches… said she averaged a walk an inning last year so that will have to improve… she worked around a walk and a hit but hopefully she will have better control going forward.
Both pitchers had control issues in the first inning. Might be in both bullpens quickly if that continues.
I’m not a big fan of the slap hitters but Johnson can absolutely fly lol unless she hits it right at you she’s got a good chance to get on… I played a lot of tournament softball and we had a guy on our team exactly like that
