Have the balls and or bats recently changed?
I don’t remember so many so many balls flying out of the park in previous years?
I’m not a softball expert, but from what I remember 10 years ago, there was a lot of slaphitting and bunting, a very smallball approach. Certainly Deifel has her girls swinging for the fences. If you’re slaphitting, you’re not going to hit it out of the park.
