17-4 run-rule final after 4.5. Hogs scored 5, 4, 4 and 4 in their four at-bats; Ellsworth had two homers and drove in 6 runs. KB Sides had a dinger and drove in 5. Nice afternoon’s work for the two transfers.

Meanwhile, second place Alabama is in extra innings at Florida. Two replay calls have both gone against Alabama baserunners, including a tag-out at the plate; nice to see that Birmingham can occasionally make a call against the Ocean Scum. A Wallet win would give the Hogs a 1 game lead in the SEC with that series in Gainesville ending Monday night. Hogs have played one less series so far
