Softball beats Bama in 10

Pitchers duel between Fouts and Delce but Hedgecock homered in the top of the 10 th to win It.

Delce was amazing!! Got a little tired in the bottom of the 10 th and had to work around bases loaded one out but she did it!! Great win maybe that will get us going…

Yes it was. Man I thought Bama would score. They should have have sent the runner to the plate in the single to left but yesterday she threw out a couple of runners at the plate so they held her. Muss is about to be on SEC Network

They changed their count on pitches - still a lot of pitches,

Yeah I can tell she got a little bit tired there at the end and didn’t have quite the sharpness of her pictures but she gutted it out and made the big pitch there at the end to strike that girl out

I’ll bet she is tired.

172 pitches I can imagine!! I have no idea how she can remain that calm

Their coach gets tossed on a pretty regular basis LOL

Patrick got tossed?!! What happened?

Delce and Fouts put on a pitching clinic. This week’s performance by Delce should earn her Pitcher of The Week.

The announcers said there had been a warning early in the game; I tuned in in the fifth inning and missed it. But there was a checked swing call in the ninth Murphy didn’t like, he squawked and he got tossed. SECN had him miked up; I’m guessing his language at that time was not suitable for replay.

Alabama is having our issue, finding an offense. The best part of this younger Arkansas team is their defense. Just have to get Hannah out of her offensive funk.

Our leadoff hitter in the top of the 1st took a 2-2 pitch (drop ball) that was right over the plate, but also right near the very bottom of the zone; a borderline pitch that in all honesty could have gone either way. Ump called it a ball for a 3-2 count. Their coach went ballistic, hence the warning.

In the bottom of that same inning, we turned a double play, and he used one of two allowable challenges for the out at 1st … but the call was correctly upheld. At that point he was seething.

I honestly have no idea how he lasted in the game as long as he did.
