Six official visitors for Bama game

Kansas DL commit Troy James
Oklahoma State DE commitment Nelson Mbanasor
RB commit Maleek Williams
LB commit Josh Paul
Michigan S commit J’Marick Woods
Not expecting the sixth kid now.

Is J’Marick Woods the Michigan commit?

Did Chevin Calloway decide on the LSU game?

Yes on Woods.

I believe so on Chevin. He said on the radio show he might make his official for the LSU game.

Is there any BBALL recruits coming in. About a month ago it was mentioned that this weekend we would get visits from Enoh and Moss. I know Enoh canceled, but is anyone else coming?

The three 2017 commits are supposed to be here for the Ole Miss football weekend on Oct. 14-16.

As for others, I am told they are working on some options, but we’ll see.

I don’t recall Moss sitting up a date.

[/quote]What’s the story on Calloway ? Does he have connections to Iowa or did he just develop late and flew under the radar ? He looks really good, and according to one site – he has no interest in other SEC teams, which is unusual.

He hasn’t flown under the radar. He’s elite prospect on the national scene. He visited Iowa and really bonded with the DC.

He was born in Pine Bluff and has lots of family members still in the state.

Richard, thanks for the insight. Sounds like we have a chance with a guy like that, where relationships are more important than big school notoriety and he looks really good and a fundamentally sound tackler. I don’t usually watch highlight clips — but I did happen to watch his. But he may stick with his first commitment too, and I would never blame him there. Again thanks for the info, and I am starting to realize some of these recruiting sites aren’t very up-to-date.

If you’re talking about profiles of kids, then yes they can be very misleading.

I doubt he ends up at Iowa.

Darious Hall maybe coming this weekend. Will check later to see if there might be others.

Justice Hill will be here
