SI.com grades the coaching hires

CM gets a moderate grade of 3.6 out of 5, but the comments attached are a little more positive than that. Scott Frost to Nebraska got the highest score, BTW. Jimbo Fisher got raked. So did Herm Edwards.

Rating Dan Mullen that low in the pecking order was all I needed to see to make me close the story and get back to work.

I find their ranking of Arkansas as always, regardless of context, garbage. Becoming relevant to ESPN (or other national media outlets) is going to be extremely difficult for the Hogs - for anything less that several 10+ win seasons…
Just from the recruiting perspective alone - how can they rank Miss. State ahead?

Years ago, SI did a piece about the 'dynasty" coaches and left out John McDonnell. They lost me forever after that.
