SEC revenue distribution: $45.5 million per school

We skipped over this yesterday discussing the Pink Puppies and the GSD and giving Barry Odom a big raise. But the 2019-20 school year brought each SEC school $45.5 million in distributions from the conference, up from $44.6M in 2018-19. That figure was somewhat affected by the pandemic, I suppose, due to the loss of some revenue from the NCAA tournament and some baseball-related income, but it won’t show the big hit from fewer football games last fall.

That was the average per school. Arkansas received about $45.7 million.

Hey, that’s $200K more to keep Barry Odom. Or pay the people in the department who took pay cuts last year.

Or pay on our bills for this year, or at least a down payment.
