Hogs are now tied for 9th, one shot out of 8th. They’re playing well (-2 so far), but also Kentucky woke up on the bogey side of the bed this morning and is +5. Meanwhile, Auburn is -6 and jumped from 9th to 5th so far.
Hogs are kicking butt in round 2. Four of the five players under par, led by -3 from Segundo Pinto, on the back nine (we started on 10) and we are now in eighth place at even par with a four-shot cushion over Tennessee. Only two shots out of fifth place at this point.
Hogs are -8 today, the best team score on the course.
Tied for seventh with Misery and Tennessee; the Vols are -12 today. Auburn is -11 so there are low scores out there (I’m guessing the wind is down from yesterday’s 17 mph). Hogs remain -8 for the day, led by Julian Perico at -3.
Yeah, six shots out of eighth place now on the back nine. We either need to start making a bunch of birdies or both Tennessee and Moo U need to collapse bigtime. And it doesn’t look like today’s a great day for birdies.
