Schiano quits Patriots' staff

Could lead to full-time role for Bielema?

Sadly my first thought was, okay what sort of in house position is Saban and Alabama going to dream up so they can get another big time ex-head coach into their system. Seems to be the Bama way.

I didn’t even think Bielema might improve his position in any way.

Before Schiano got this job, which was sort of undefined (i.e., no firm job title), there was speculation in Boston that they might promote BB from his advisory role instead. Now an opening for Belichick to do so if he wants.

He quit because the massage parlor perk has been dropped from the benefits package.
