the 3 month project was paying off in spades before Bryce Young showed his mettle. Patterson had a doozy of a scheme that really gave Bummer fits. All credit where credit is due. I wonder if it galls Gary P to not be pulling a purple miracle off and having to root burnt orange. Sark sat at the feet of the master accumulator and found his own talent from high coaching ranks and wrought a big success. Texas D was unrecognizably good especially as compared to last year. Big respect for Gary P former Horny Toad head man.

We would be very wise to watch that game film and try to learn as much as we can from it to implement into our package when we play them.

I agree, the only caveats being that we have to do what makes the best sense based on our personnel, not Texas’s AND Alabama has already seen what Texas did and that will that not be a surprise, they are probably expecting future opponents to emulate that, and are no doubt working on a counter for that.
Yeah it will have to be stuff that we mix in with our regular package but considering they had about 600 yards offense against us last year we better be trying something different LOL.

I’m hoping Patterson and Nebraska work out.
I doubt it happens, but his name is on all the speculative lists going around.
I just want him off the Texas sideline.

They would do better than where they are now.
The word was that Patterson was unhappy with how things had changed (quickly) in college football. NIL, portal and such. He was/is an old school coach. Maybe being away from the hot seat has made him reevaluate that position. He would be a good one for the Cornhuskers if so. I miss seeing him hitch up his pants on the sideline.
