Sandi cleared 4.93m (16 ft 2 inches) in Houston tonight to break Jenn Suhr’s outdoor American record of 4.92m set back in 2006.
Sandi has established herself as one of the favorites to capture the Olympic gold medal in Rio next month.
Razorbacks currently own American record in men’s 100m (Tyson Gay) and now Sandi Morris in women’s Pole Vault.
Congratulations to Sandi. Now shoot for the world record next year.
