RPI update

Not to get the proverbial cart before the horse, so to speak . . . we need to continue winning and post a nice SEC record before any Tournament talk will be relevant . . .

That said, our win over LSU yesterday boosted us to #33 in the RPI, and we are at #43 in Sagarin. That’s typically the area where teams get at large bids. That is, of course, if that’s where they FINISH the season. Also, depends on how many end of season conference tournaments produce “surprise” winners that gobble up bids.

A lot of basketball yet to be played - and winning records to be posted!

We are 3-3 against current top 100 teams that we already played. Our next three in a row are against top 100 teams. Then 6 of our last 8 opponents are currently ranked in top 100. Our challenge/opportunity has just begun.
