Rotation change

TJ Sikkema, the strong Mizzou left hander, won’t start until Saturday. The Tigers will throw left hander Jacob Cantleberry (2-0, 2.91 ERA) tomorrow.

I guess they did that to try to get a matchup on the mound with Noland for the hogs in an attempt to win Game 2.
Campbell needs to come out and have a good start. Will Cody Scroggins still start on Sunday for the Hogs?

Arkansas is keeping its rotation the same - Campbell, Noland, Scroggins.

Cantelberry is a juco and has very good stats 21 innings pitched 33 strikeouts so he must be a power pitcher or have a very good breaking ball. We will just have to be patient make him throw strikes and then we get those strikes hit them.it’s a pretty good move for them if they can win on Friday they will have the ace going on Saturday against a freshman.

We have had good results against Sikkema in the past

I think we’ve only faced Sikkema once in 2017. He threw 4 innings in relief, giving up 1 run on 2 hits, 2 BB, and 2 strikeouts, with 15 batters faced. He was the winning pitcher in that game, as we lost 7-2. We won the rubber match the following day to take the series.

Sikemma is a guy you have to be patient with he gets you out hitting his pitches with many of them not being strikes. We need to be a very aggressive in the zone and when he makes a mistake he has to be punished if not it’s going to be a low-scoring game for us.
Very shrewd. Obviously gives them the best chance to win at least one game. On the other hand, I’d rather face a lefty after facing a lefty. So, the move could backfire.

All three Mizzou starters are left handed.
I should have said, I’d rather face their best lefty after facing another lefty. Surely, we’ll be golden by Sunday

I guess my memory fails me
Not surprising

Cantleberry the Mizzou starter tomorrow is a very Crafty LH with 88-90 FB, good CB and a excellent change at 70-72 he’s the kind that has give us fits before b/c we have trouble with offspeed pitches he has 33K in 21 inn. hopefully he will make a mistake and we can capitalize
