Sounds like Ronā€™s mama still has doubts. Canā€™t blame her. Iā€™m still holding out hope that he becomes a Hog.

We were in the final 3 teams he named. I donā€™t remember who the 3rd one was? It sure seems feasible to think weā€™d be in his top 2 now if TX releases him (which theyā€™d almost have to). I guess it could be the same top 3 including TX if he likes their new coach.

It was really only 2, Larryā€¦us and Texass. Can we possibly get this lucky?

Like I said before, I spoke briefly to Ron and his mom at the Red White. Two very nice people who were noticeably having a great time on The Hill.

Mama Holland was sitting with Danyelle, and Ron was sitting right in front of Beck, McDaniel, Elmer Martin, Dwight Stewart, and me.

All of them went to the lockeroom after the gameā€¦Ron was one of the guys.

If Ron asks for his release, I really like our chances.

Texas is in free fall. They just gave up 116 points on their home court. No way that happens under Beard, and I honestly donā€™t know the guy they named as the interim, but I really hope they hire him full-time.

I view the tweets from Ron and his mother as a way to stop from questions coming at them on what they are going to do. I am sure they are studying the situation and undecided as of now. As always it depends on who the new coach will be. Letā€™s remember he is a Texan. However, I think Hogs and Kentucky are back in the game.

KY was in Ronā€™s final 5, but he eliminated them when he named his final 3 - TX, AR, & UCLA

If Arkansas wants to go after Holland again fine but I hope we donā€™t see anymore recruiting classes with 6 freshmen in it going forward. Too much inexperience on one roster.
