I can’t help but wonder whether Rodriguez will be a candidate at West Virginia. I think his record at Michigan and Arizona - not to mention the personal claims made against him - might make some apprehensive to bring him back, but WVU won big with him, albeit in a different conference, and he is an alum.
I think Bill Snyder’s relative success in his second go-round at K-State has made schools more willing to bring back coaches in an attempt to recreate past success. North Carolina rehired Mack Brown and Utah State brought back Gary Andersen this off-season.
I doubt Mack Brown does well at UNC. Mack is 67 years old. Will be 68 before the season begins. Hard to imagine someone who has been out of coaching several years coming back at his age & being as successful as he once was. There were a whole lot of “good riddances” whispered when he left Texas.
