RD/DD...2020 class observation

RD/DD… It feels like even though we’ve gone through the major coaching changes, and a very short early signing window for CSP, that the 2020 class could turn out to be in decent shape. It seems like we are on a lot of really good kids and some of the ones we previously had committed (didn’t sign) didn’t get any big offers and some of the others appear to still have some interest.

So my question is…does it feel like this class will end up as good as what CCM would likely been able to put together if he’d stayed? Obviously this question is pure opinion since we still have 30 days and it’s pure speculation about what could have happened.

Interested in your thoughts.

If Morris had stayed, it would’ve been because he won more games. If that happened, I would say he and the staff would’ve signed a pretty good class.

Hard to predict how Pittman closes things out and what the class will look like. Morris signed ESPN’s No. 51 class in his first year. They had seven signees after the early signing period and ended up with 17. I expect Pittman to sign a few more than that.

I would say we would have a better indication on Jan. 19 after these 15 or so recruits are in that weekend for the big recruiting weekend.

But Coach signing nine guys, including five early enrollees, is one heck of a rally from what could have been a worhtless earlier period.
