Rating the New SEC Coaches

CM has impressed writers outside the SEC…

I would say that they rated the new coaches where I would put them.

I can buy that.

That sounds like an Aggie trying to influence the rankings.

That story is written by Josh Kendall, who has covered South Carolina football for The State newspaper in Columbia for some time. The Charlotte Observer and The State are both owned by McClatchy, which has a large content sharing agency. Charlotte has become a bit of an SEC hub with graduates from several of the universities taking jobs there, as well as the SEC Network setting up its headquarters there.

All of that is to say the story is written by an SEC insider, not outsider, for what it’s worth.

Another one from the outside that was bragging on the hire was Andre Ware. He was saying Arkansas will be able to do good things in Texas with these coaches.
