Purdue lands PWO Ethan Trent

So what? And why should you care?

Ethan had an older brother, Tyler Trent. You may have heard of him. Purdue superfan, bonded with the Boilermaker team in 2018 while battling bone cancer, died in 2019 at age 20 having raised more than a million dollars for cancer research.

So Jeff Brohm obviously knew the Trents well and offered Ethan a PWO spot as an offensive lineman. But then Brohm took the HC job at his alma mater, Louisville. Did the PWO opportunity go with him?

Nope. Ryan Walters took time to come to Trent’s high school and assure him the PWO offer remained in place.
