That is Mike Tucker. He called me this afternoon. He said he is too sick to get up to sit at computer. Knows he’s probably got Covid but does not want to go get tested.
His brother (tiredhogfan) is in Rogers hospital with Covid on a ventilator. Chances of survival are low.
Both of them have been active posters at times.
I told I would post this on our forum.
This is tough time for all of us. Lost my Uncle Chris Aycock in Carlisle this past week. Uncle Chris was married to my dad’s youngest sister, Pat. Last of eight siblings. It was so tough on Pat. Could not see him in his final days in hospital.
Chris flew jets in Viet Nam. Has struggled because of Agent Orange exposure and went quickly when Covid hit. Matter of hours.
Prayers for Mike and his brother. I’ve missed him on the board lately. And Clay I’m so sorry about your Uncle. It’s so tough not being able to visit with or be with loved ones when they are in their final days/hours.
I had a dear friend in Benton that died fairly young with liver issues most likely caused by handling Agent Orange in Vietnam. I wonder what the real Vietnam death count is counting Agent Orange and other related issues from that war?
I am so sorry to hear this for him, his brother, and your aunt & uncle. We’ve become too accustomed to this cursed virus, I’m afraid. While I’m glad younger people seem to handle it pretty well, I’m annoyed so many of them seem to have no concern for spreading it to the vulnerable.
