Practice observations - 11/13

Just got back inside Barnhill Arena after 20 minutes of open practice:

– Players in green that we could identify: Hayden Henry (8 tackles vs. LSU), Dorian Gerald, De’Vion Warren (did not dress out vs. LSU), running backs Rakeem Boyd and Devwah Whaley. I’m pretty positive Jared Cornelius was in green, too, and Tyson Morris was not seen. Neither was defensive lineman Briston Guidry.

Whaley, who has missed the Razorbacks’ last three games due to an ankle injury that required surgery, was running and catching passes out of the backfield. He did not look full speed, but the fact he’s out there and active is a positive. He practiced Sunday night and, on Monday, Chad Morris said he expects Whaley to be back for Miss. State.

– Chase Hayden and Maleek Williams got reps with the first and second team offenses in the 11-on-11 work. Connor Noland and John Stephen Jones split reps with the second team offense. Shane Clenin, working at center, snapped the ball at least 2 feet over Jones’ head on one play. Right before that happened, Dalton Wagner false started. The whole play was a mess and drew loud disapproval from several coaches.

[/quote]Sounds like LSU game film.

how on earth are they having so much trouble running an offense? Most high schools in america run their offenses better than we do, I’ll just never understand this stuff.
