Possible doubleheader

Arkansas officials are considering playing a doubleheader Saturday against Kentucky because of inclement weather in the forecast for Sunday. I don’t think there will be any decision made on this until sometime Friday. Because of the interest in and importance of this series, the hope is to play three games in three days, but the ultimate goal is to play three games - preferably nine innings - by whatever means are necessary.

The National Weather Service forecast calls for an increasing chance of thunderstorms throughout the afternoon Sunday. Saturday’s forecast is mostly sunny with a high near 71 and rain chances increasing toward midnight.

Is that Sunday will be sunny & 72.

They should just start the Sunday game at about 10 a.m.

You just never know about that weather. Turned out it was probably a better day to play Saturday than Sunday last week.

.Any Friday news about the Sunday game, yet?

Nothing yet. You’ll know when we know.

They need to get the games in! A wet field is no fun!

There will be a doubleheader tomorrow beginning at 2 p.m.

Sunday NWS forecast for Fayetteville:

A slight chance of showers and thunderstorms, then showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm after 1pm. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 64. Southeast wind 5 to 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70%.

i wonder if espn3 will pick up second game . last time we rescheduled to a double header the second game was no where to be found even though the university said the game was streaming. somebody needs to call somebody at espn and make sure they show the game.

Any tv for either games today?

The games will only be online and on the ESPN app.

Ok thx Matt
