Will McEntire came down with the flu last weekend, which might explain some of his struggles against Alabama. I’m not sure if he will be able to pitch or not this weekend.
Ole Miss is expected to start RHP Jack Dougherty on Thursday, LHP Xavier Rivas on Friday and RHP JT Quinn on Saturday.
Quinn, a freshman, joined the rotation last week after Grayson Saunier was hit around too much.

it would be nice to have a big lead in game 1 where Smith could watch the entire game also game 2. Maybe the bullpen depth will show up again.
They are being much too harsh with Saunier. They absolutely need to give him another chance Thursday night. And if that doesn’t go well, again on Friday or Saturday…
I agree. If I were coaching OM I’d make this weekend an opportunity for their worst pitchers to finally show up. I’d give some of their hitters with low batting averages a chance to show their stunts the top of the order, too.
