That was as good of pass as you will ever see! Degree of difficulty 10.5, had to literally thread the needle through about one foot of space, to a perfectly sprinting Toney for the huge slam. That was a thing of beauty! Well done Devo
The steal he made right before that pass was also incredible. Tremendous effort by Devo on that defense to offense.
Absolutely he reached out there and snatched that from him and then immediately fired that 30 ft bounce pass that was absolutely perfectly placed.
When he started that pass I was thinking, oh no!! Another turnover!
Quickly changed to wow! what a great pass!
You are right! That was a pass that was executed perfectly!!
I loved the English he put on the pass to drop it into the right spot
It was an incredible play, that led to an emphatic dunk! I think that play cemented our win and took the air out of NMS.
After that it was really just a matter of making the FT’s coming our way. We did that!!
This is what I noticed about the play. It was not a no look pass. Neither was it a behind the back pass. In fact, while he was flying down the court, Devo was looking forward, seeing all that was in front of him and then made an excellent and unforced pass. It was great. I wish he would always play that way.
Fundamentally sound bounce pass that few would make or even see the opportunity. Most would have tried to throw over the top and under/ over thrown the pass. Excellent job of seeing the play develop and making a spot on pass! WPS
The baseball pass from JWill to JD for the layup was pretty awesome too, reminded me of an Oliver Miller pass. Nessler and Haywood commented that they couldn’t believe JD made the catch and finished the play; maybe he learned something from Treylon Burks.
Both of those passes were perfect. the Devo pass was unreal. When he let it go, I thought what are you doing, another TO. that quickly changed to wow! As good as any I have ever seen.
Yeah I called him KJ Williams on that one that was awesome.
Pretty much my same reaction
Yep. told my son he had watched KJ.
Spontaneous action & great vision by Devo on the pass. Not sure that’s a proper description.
But From the time he got the steal started forward saw Toney racing toward the basket and made the pass. Less than 2 blinks I think.
I bet Toney was thinking lob at first, but they both looked like they’ve practiced it 100 times.
Toney did a pretty good job of catching it too. He was going full speed and the ball was pretty low in trajectory it seemed to me.
