Our special teams

Leave everything to be desired.

smh why are kickers even on scholarship smh

kickers aren’t on scholarships usually…these sure as heck better not be…

There’s nothing special about the hogs special teams play! No kick or punt returns and clearly the most pathetic coverage when we kick or punt!
We haven’t got anybody to kick fold goals in the last few seasons. They play like our offense.
As for kickers being on scholarship we don’t have a kicker worth one!

Yes you’re Right Limpert was given a scholarship

There’s what are special teams is noted for. Blocked punt and give Auburn the ball back in the red zone.

Then we get a punt blocked deep in our territory. Giving up very short field one way or another.

They don’t deserve to be called special teams. They should be collectively called our awful team’s play.

Very embarrassing… you very seldom see college teams give up to wide-open Lanes to the punter 2 times in the same game

No more punts!

What special teams? Certainly Arkansas can’t punt. However, other than the fact Arkansas can’t punt, a fumble, and an obscene number of penalties, Arkansas is outplaying Auburn.

With the extra coach now allowed by the NCAA, I’m hoping we would hire a very experienced and outstanding special teams coach. I read last year where there were some on the board who wanted our current quality control special teams guy to become the full time special teams coach. I trust those who made this statement were under the influence when saying this.

Can anyone punt the darn thing over 34 yards.

I saw a high school team run the old traditional punt protection instead of that three-man shield. I like it so much better. The shield is a block waiting to happen, in my opinion.

Kickoff coverage isn’t much better

We look like a junior high team out there in our special teams never seen anything like it

So much of special teams comes down to individual effort.

Hard for me to think our S/T will be good this year after seeing some of the effort put forth here and there this year.

It needs some major work.
