“Jacksonville homeless shelters have been using preventive measures such as daily temperature checks of residents and staff, along with frequent disinfection of surfaces and the use of personal protective equipment.”
Maybe they are; maybe they’re not…
One thing they are doing right is daily checks/testing.
Testing is how they know no one is infected. It is not what is keeping them uninfected. Maybe the workers wearing the masks and PPE is what’s protecting them since they are the only ones, I would think, that violate the social distances with them. Normally, no one else, out in the world, comes very close to homeless folks for any extended length of time.
