OT: For Clay and all the Hog Outdoorsmen/women……

Yes sir. We’ve seen him at our cabin the last 2 years from about May until September. First year…not so well behaved. Last year he was better. I think he’s a 4 -5 year old this year.

This is the best one I’ve seen at the cabin and yes, Mr. Nocturnal.

Funny story. I first figured out I had a bear when I had a 55 gallon feeder on a tripod with about 200 lbs. of corn disappear. Yes, completely disappear. All I found were the legs of the tripod. I found the feeder this past winter about in a ravine about 400 yards in a densely wooded area from where it was originally located. The bear that did it in the one in the photo above.

I hung the next feeder with a chain from the tree. It really frustrated him that he couldn’t pull that one down. It has a padlock on it - not coming down unless the tree comes down.

Bear will destroy a feeder.

I know, I know, don’t feed the bears! But this guy was different. Or maybe it was a gal. I forget.

Marty - you are the best!!! Thank you for posting that for me. I still can’t believe how close he was to where I was standing. I really think he was (as the kids say) “flexing” on me as his lady friends were close by lol.

I appreciate you posting it!

Great looking buck if he is still with us!

Have seen a big one without his antlers this month. I guess they will get horns soon.
