wife got me 2 fire stick tv packages for Christmas…set the 1st one up but noticed i can’t get the MLB or YES(Yankees)networks…did sign up for hulu live and espn+ and watched the ladies game…so much better than streaming on the computer…anything else i need to know/look into?like how to get those networks?thanks in advance
Every streaming service (Hulu, YouTube TV, Sling, etc.) is going to offer a different collection of networks. I think some offer MLB Network, but you might have to sacrifice some of the ones you have with Hulu. With YES being a regional network, I’m not sure how it pairs with the streaming services.
Your best bet might be to complement your streaming service with an MLB.tv subscription that allows you to watch out-of-market games.
I first went with YouTube TV before switching to Hulu. YouTube TV had the MLB network, but not some other things that I wanted. I think that Matt’s idea is better, because with the MLB.tv subscription, you can watch any out-of-market game.
thanks…i saw the MLB logo but didn’t want to pay for last season…so i guess i was on the right track with that
One important thing to note.
You Tube TV is not available on Firestick. Or at least wasn’t when I tried it. I have a collection of Firesticks, Rokus, and Apple TV devices, as well as Android TV. I quit using Firestick when I switched providers to YouTube TV.
I will also say I found Firestick to be the most glitchy and unreliable of all the devices.
While it was not available at first, YouTube TV is now available on Firestick.
