I think the numbness set in when that foul dropped last night between a trio of really good ballplayers, and feeling hasn’t come back since.
I think so. Everyone in the park & watching on TV knew the hogs had won when that ball went up. When it hit the ground all the air went out of all of us. Then when we gave up 2 runs in the first & faced a pitcher we couldn’t hit, well, it was over.
Very obvious it was over when the foul ball dropped.
