One would think if one were the

Sports editor of the only statewide newspaper in a state whose primary & dominant sports obsession is the play of its university’s teams, one would write about that team being in the conference final. Razorback baseball isn’t what it was 25 years ago–an afterthought of most fans. It’s top 5 in attendance or better year in & year out for the past 7-8 years. It’s become a revenue sport.

Now, I don’t expect it to get as much coverage from the editor as the amateur old man’s softball tournament later this summer & I know we all want to know how much fun being in the SEC has been for the ADG sports staff, but I would expect a column or two talking about the baseball hogs. Oh well, those columns would be poorly written & expose the sports editor’s ignorance of the game. I guess I shouldn’t care.

Since I won’t read his stuff anyway, I would prefer not to have a click bait article about baseball.
