One player not mentioned a lot

I see a lot of people talking about Nick Fitzgerald’s rushing ability for this game. The player I think could be the key is Fred Ross.

He has tortured Arkansas’ secondary the last couple of years. He had 4 receptions for 107 yards and the game-winning 69-yard TD two years ago, and 10 catches for 154 yards and 2 TDs last year. He had a big game against Texas A&M a couple of weeks ago. I think he’s one of the most underrated receivers in the country.

He’s a tough matchup. Mississippi State likes to line him up in the slot and targets him a lot on screens and crossing routes. It challenges the tackling ability of the secondary. Arkansas had missed tackles on both of his TD catches last year. His 3 career TDs vs. Arkansas have had runs after the catch of 35, 34 and 10 yards.

Gee, thanks Matt. Didn’t you have any pictures of dead puppies to post?

:frowning:

Make Ramsey the spy on Nick and put his face in the turf on every snap

Got a feeling this will be the plan.
