It works. I would certainly find this old bumped post by 2009 less annoying. We can see that 2009 (or whoever) is bumping the old thread. We can also hover over the title and see the description of the old post. Because of the title in the link, I would probably have opened the post and clicked on the link.

16 carries for 90 yards, 2 TDs in game one.

He had 16 carries for 70 yards in game two.

He wasn’t on the stats list for the last game.
