old miss vs ncaa

Anyone hearing anything?? It got real quiet all of a sudden.

All NCAA violations are handled by the SEC office.

I am holding out hope that the NCAA isn’t backing off because they normally announce that the investigation is done after this long. This case is complex enough that I hope it is quiet because the investigation is truly active. They SAY the football investigation is still active.

I figure this won’t be done until this time next year.

I hope you are right so that their cheating will be reduced to some degree this year and hopefully a dramatic change for the future.

Ole Miss will get the hammer dropped on them. 4 years of NCAA digging…

Ole Miss has received an NOA…Notice of Allegations in early 2016, then the Tunsil deal hit and they continued to dig and investigate. According to Pat Forde of Yahoo Sports, the NCAA is granting immunity to players from other schools whom Ole Miss recruited in order to gather facts about the Rebs recruiting tactics. You don’t grant immunity unless the case is a very serious one. I have never heard of that being done.

They have already been accused of 9 Level 1 violations which are the most serious violations, including academic fraud.
They are going to receive a 2nd NOA or an amended 1st letter, adding to their indiscretions. The father-in-law of Laremy Tunsil has bared his soul giving more than 100 hours of recorded testimony to the NCAA about Ole Miss.

It is over for the Rebs for the next 7-10 years. Wally wrote last week and said the violations were minor. He did not do his homework.

He never does.
