Yeah, I’m tooting their horns, but you know how granddads and uncles are! Grandson Sterling is a tennis freshman at Brother Martin High School in New Orleans. Him and his doubles mate won two matches in the state tournament last week to help Brother Martin finish third. Brother Martin’s work schedule is pretty rugged. Even this summer they work out 2:30 to 6 Monday through Thursday. In addition. Sterling has two pro coaches. I’m glad his other grandparents has some money to pay for all of that tennis. My great grandnephew Sam is a key relief pitcher as a sophomore at Rison Woodlawn in Arkansas. He sits at 85 mph. Not bad for a kid that young. My grandson Parker is just an 8th grader at North Desoto High School in Louisiana. He showed potential in baseball but fell in love with bass fishing. Now he has his eyes on being the captain of his high school’s bass fishing team next spring. Parker is my co-pilot. But you know what I like best is that all three are straight A students.
Amen to that!
You have the right to be proud. Sounds like solid kids.
