Fractured tibia
Wow, hope he can overcome this injury…but his pro career maybe over…out 2 years is like an eternity in pro ball.
They did not put him on IR, as they think he will be back sooner than the 10 weeks or so that he would miss if they put him on recallable IR.
But, as Mrs. Buzzard said when I told her:
“That boy just can’t seem to stay healthy”.
I suffered a tibial plateau fracture in the 9th grade. It was a lateral blow to the knee after a long run in a Jr high game. I was in a cast for 6 weeks and full speed in about 3 months and that was without the recuperative skills the NFL brings. He should be fine. Gotta be a mental blow though.
