St. Louis Trinity Catholic Coach Cory Patterson said he and Boyd tried to visit Fayetteville over the weekend, but the school had something going on that prevented them from coming.
He said Boyd will try and visit before the start of the season, but if not they’ll attend a game. Johnson said running backs coach Reggie Mitchell is like a mentor to him.
Boyd, 6-5, 310 has Arkansas, Mizzou, Illinois and Oklahoma State as his top schools.
