This post makes my bias transparent. Just saying Memphis is on tonight. SMU plays UCF this weekend. The Norvell Morris bowl is coming up. BB is a good man and good coach. Sometimes things just don’t work out and a change needs to occur. Happens in business, schools, churches, hospitals all the time.
Cure the apathy. I’m enjoying watching Norvell and Morris both this season.
Mike Norvell will be coaching a P5 team next season - question is who?
I think Norvell will be an upgrade over what we have now.
He may well end up at UTK, Ole Miss or Auburn.
In the game Friday night against Tulsa, he went for
a TD rather than the safe field goal from the one or
two yard line. They had a seven point lead at that time
and the game was still very much in play. My wife
thought he would take the points and have a ten
point lead.
This was my first look at Memphis and I
said that I felt like if they made the TD it would
completely deflate Tulsa and if they failed they
would have them lining up in the end zone. I like
my chances either way-unless it was late in the fourth
quarter.
He looks like he belongs on a bigger stage.
