Mississippi State’s Ethan Small lost a perfect game bid when he hit a batter in the seventh inning. He also issued a walk. But he hasn’t allowed any hits.

It’s interesting that he is throwing this way tonight. I turned in my All-America nominations earlier today and he was the last one I put on my list. That is an outstanding matchup tonight between Small and John Doxakis.

yeah I was watching up until our game and they haven’t come close but once a long drive robbed by mangum against the wall

they took small out and Tam got a hit up the middle

That’s too bad for Small. I understand why the decision was made, but you only get so many chances to do that.
