I didn’t watch the whole game, but I watched Nick make 5 free throws in a row and not a single one touched the rim. Very pure shooter. Because he’s such a great “scorer”, his pure shooting, including 3 point shooting, gets a little overlooked.

They interviewed Nick after the game. Biancardi brought up AB and how he wanted to play at Arkansas with him. Nick mentioned that he and AB just wanted to win. Nothing else was as important as winning. Sounds great.

Nick reminds me of Kobe, and that is a very good thing. All he wants to do is win. Please come back, JWill! We very seriously could win a natty next year.

Paul said the final rankings will come out Wednesday. He said Nick doesn’t have to worry about out dropping. Lol.

Anybody know why Michael Jordan wasn’t there?

What were his final stats ?

I’m not sure. I know he had at least 22 points.

That should be good enough for a 10th seed in Biancardis’ world.

Biancardi is actually very high on Nick…and Kel El. He has said on more than one occasion that Nick might be the #1 pick next year.

Nick finished with 27 points.

If a freshman is going to lead Arkansas to a National Title, then Nick Smith is the prototype player that Muss is looking for. Not only does he possess supreme talent, but he’s also got the mindset, drive, that killer mentality. Supreme confidence. Will thrive not shrink in a NCAA tourney setting. Absolute dog.
