I’m like you, Billy…I wish we would’ve signed Ware. But…I wouldn’t trade him for Walsh. Walsh has a motor that I haven’t seen from Ware. I don’t know if you can say that a 5 Star is a steal, but I think Jordan Walsh was a total steal for us. He is a walking triple double. I hope this year’s team comes around, but I guarantee next year’s team will be must see TV with Smith, Walsh, Ford, Dunning, and Pinion. Still hope Muss can find another big. Hate, hate that we lost Ware (especially since it looks like him and Nick play well together). Still holding out hope that we add Black. Go Hogs!

There’s a video of Walsh on YouTube going one-on-one against what looks like some of the best players at some kind of camp and he is literally abusing them… he has incredible post moves inside… really quick first step and can use either hand…as he gets bigger and stronger he will be a beast inside I think with his quickness and post moves.

I think growing up with Alopecia toughened Jordan up. I’m sure he got teased along the way, but I would not be one bit surprised if he is SEC Freshman of the Year next year and a multi-time All Star in the NBA. The kid just has “it”. Like I said earlier, I hate that we lost Ware, but there is no way in the world I would trade him for Jordan Walsh.

Yeah Walsh does not want to be denied if you look at that video right there at the very end of it there’s a guy really playing tough defense on him blocks a couple of his shots he never stops and finally gets the rebound and scores… you can see the guy reaching out and get him a handshake because of that tremendous effort… I don’t quite get the idea of Ware going to Oregon probably got a happy handshake to do so

Don’t know about Ware. Both DD and RD said he really wanted to leave the state. We could hope that he might come back to us like Sasha did, but I just don’t see that happening in men’s basketball. If he’s not a one and done, would we even still want him? Bigs take SO much longer to develop in college. Pretty sure Muss would rather have a proven big (like the big kid at Kensucky), but he has yet to sign one for us yet…
Yeah I don’t understand that… I would think a big athletic guy would be drooling to come here with all the NBA connections we have on this staff…

I get positionless basketball, but it would sure be nice to have a pure point guard and a dominant, skilled big. But, then again, I’m pretty sure everybody in college basketball wants that. I still hope we get Black.

Yeah when I look around the country and see all these great teams they all have several big athletic guys.
I just think we have to get one to come and show how awesome they would be in this system then all of them would be wanting to come.
