As a member of the Razorback Foundation, I received the latest letter from Jeff Long on the status of Razorback Athletics. In that letter, there was the following paragraph about a nice off-court honor that Kingsley received along with four other Razorback student athletes and 66 other students. Proud of what this young man has achieved after coming over from Nigeria.
Last Friday, the Arkansas Alumni Association announced its 2017 Seniors of Significance class. Five Razorback student-athletes were among the 71 students from across campus that were recognized with the prestigious honor. Eric Janise (men’s track and field) and Moses Kingsley (men’s basketball) were honored from the J. William Fulbright College of Arts and Sciences. Parker Pocklington (softball) was recognized from both the J. William Fulbright College of Arts and Sciences and the College of Education and Health Professions. Summar Roachell (women’s golf) and Amanda Wellick (gymnastics) were honored from the Sam M. Walton College of Business. These young men and women are truly leaders in the academic community on our campus and we are so proud of them.
Response-
Ditto, thank you for sharing, you would think one of the sports writers would have shared this accomplishment by one of our own student athlete, I guess if they aren’t getting drunk or something more foolish it isn’t news worthy…
