The Carolina Hurricanes are playing at home (NC State’s home arena) tonight in the Stanley Cup playoffs against the defending Cup champion Washington. Washington leads the series 2-1 coming in, but as I type Carolina has a 2-1 lead in the third period.
How is this Hog-related? Because in honor of the pork industry in North Carolina, the Hurricanes’ costumed mascot is Stormy the Hog.
