It is a bigger deal than NFL football. Hard to do. But NFR does it.

So much respect for Rodeo Cowboys, Cowgirls and the crews that run the shows. I’ve seen it up close and personal including serious injury in the arena and practice pen. These folks are top notch athletes. To reach the NFR you have to put in an unbelievable amount of work and overcome injuries, bad draws and crazy travel. All the best to the contestants.

Wish I was there too! One of my high school classmates is out there shooting pics after winning photographer of the year for PRCA. Those folks are some tough athletes.

My lady finished 5th tonight. Jordan Briggs is the niece of our neighbor and hay partner, daughter of 5 time World Champion, Christy Peterson. Right now, she is sitting #2 in the world. That is going to be one tough contest as it always is in an event where 0.25 sec separates the top 10. I have some of her tickets for mid week. A great family that grew up on horses since before they could walk.
All the young girls around here dream of one day goring to the NFR.
