Just looking at the construction cameras, it’s pretty obvious now to any of us who thought much of the construction would be finished by Sept were dreaming. No way they’re anywhere close to two months from completion. Still, the progress is fun to watch. The scoreboards should be ready & perhaps most exterior work will be finished, but I’d be really surprised if it could be ready even by the end of the season. Should look great by this time next year, though.
I detailed the timeline of construction in this piece a few months ago: http://www.wholehogsports.com/news/2017 … azorbacks/
The exterior work won’t be finished until around March of next year and work will continue on the interior up until close to the first game of the 2018 season. The video boards will be ready in time for this season.
OK, I tried to tell all of you guys. Some didn’t believe me. It’s an incredible feat to be ready for the start of the 2018 season. I’m told that some won’t be in their offices by then, but that the locker rooms and facilities needed by the team will be complete by the first game of '18. Last will be people going to work in administrative offices.
