Next football commitment coming?

Defensive lineman Gavin McCabe, 6-3, 255 pounds, of Chicago Marist High School said on last night’s Recruiting Thursday that he could possibly commit to the Hogs if he’s blown away by his two-day visit that starts today. He’s very aware of Arkansas tight end commitment Luke Ford and his love for the Razorbacks. The two have communicated about the Hogs and he’s very intrigued.

He said he had other visits planned, but indicated a great visit might be able to get him on board.

He has more than 20 offers from Arkansas, Washington State, Rutgers, Boston College, Iowa State, Purdue, Kansas, Syracuse and Indiana. Offensive line coach Kurt Anderson is his lead recruiter.

There are not many spots left overall - when you throw in the three blueshirts and the four commits - but he is legit.

15 but that is with the staff assuming 2 guys will leave after this next year. Only 13 spots available right now.
