After a year notable for screwing up the women’s tournament amenities, passing the buck to Congress on NIL and generally demonstrating complete incompetence, Mark Emmert gets two more years to show just how bad a job he can do. I wish someone would pay me $2.7 million plus per year to suck at my job. Last month a bunch of ADs in college sports told The Athletic that Emmert should go away. Oops. The equity review the NCAA commissioned after the women’s tournament screwup isn’t even complete yet, and they hand this clown two more years.
Remember, he used to be chancellor at SAO. Which may help explain why things in Baton Rouge are so screwed up.
