We capitalized on their mistakes and made several fantastic defensive plays and then
add that to some awesome pitching and the result is a win. 
I think it was our Great pitching. Blaine is going to be missed.

There is a famous quote in chess by Tartakower that has some applicability, “The
winner of the game is the player who makes the next-to-last mistake.”
Our competition to win wasn’t “Perfect Baseball.” It was Oregon State. We only had to make fewer costly mistakes & take advantage of theirs. Last night we played better than they did. We won. That’s sorta how 2-team competitions work.
